If you are experiencing problems with Channergy not saving your preferences you may have a Windows rights/permissions issue. There is an easy fix for that.
When you install Channergy it creates a shortcut on your desktop. Use the following instructions so that it always runs as an administrator.
- Right-click on the Channergy icon (the image below shows our Channergy Service Manager icon which is a handy utility to install as well) on the desktop and select the Properties option………..
- Click on the Compatibility tab and click on the Run this program as administrator
- If you are running Windows 10 or Server 2012 you can also change the settings for all users by clicking on the Change settings for all users button.
Click OK to save your changes. Then use the Channergy shortcut to run Channergy as an administrator with full privileges to the folders where the ini files are stored. These keep track of your preferences and changes to the interface.
